Bhartya Janta Party Punjab chief, Vijay Sampla today hit out at AAP’s newly-appointed state convener Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi for his remarks, and advised him to do some introspection. In his statement made to the media, Ghuggi had claimed that the Akali-BJP combine and Congress were hand in gloves with each other. In his blog, Sampla wrote, “Just can’t stop laughing over his ridiculous statement and at the same time feel sorry for him. Ghuggi intends to say that the protest that Congress held in front of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal’s residence had full support of the Akali-BJP combine. He has forgot that when AAP leaders sat on a similar dharna in front of the CM’s residence, the Chief Minister not only arranged refreshments, but even invited them home by plying special buses. Not only this, the CM even came out of his official residence, talked to AAP leaders and accepted their indent”.
Lashing out at Ghuggi, Vijay Sampla blogged, “Ghuggi seems oblivious of the fact that his party joined hands with that party in Delhi, whose chief minister Sheila Dixit was accused by them of being corrupt. Back then, his party fooled the people by making false promises that they will never ever join hands with the Congress. But they did. This aside, after coming back into power, they failed to take any action against Dixit. Ghuggi should ask his national convener, Arvind Kejriwal as to why such generosity was showered upon her. He will come to know that Congress has a deal with AAP, not Akali-BJP combine”.“Ghuggi ji, you are a very good comedian, and I respect you for that. But you are a politician now, please keep comedy aside and understand the seriousness of politics”, he said.
