Reacting on the fear, chaos and confusion among the people living in border areas, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal must come clear on such chaos and confusion he has caused by asking people of border area to evacuate in fear of war.Addressing a press conference along with Vice President of AAP, Col (Retd) CD Kamboj, Head of the NRI Wing, Jagtar Sanghera and AAP Candidate from Balachaur Brigadier (Retd) Raj Kumar, State Convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich (Ghuggi) said CM must clear this, especially after the tweet of Director General  (DG) of Border Security Force (BSF), who stated that India never gave orders for evacuation of villages along with Indo-Pak border. It is pertinent to mention her that DG of BSF, K K Sharma’s tweet says “India never gave orders for evacuation of villages near International border post”.  Even Sharma said “there is tension at international border but no exchange of fire has taken place yet”.

State Convener of AAP, Waraich said villagers and residents of border areas should be made clear for how long they need to vacate their houses and if war is imminent how long they will have to stay away from their houses? He said that in case, as per Badal’s claims, he got orders from Union Home Minister to get border areas up to 10 kilo meters evacuated, why such orders were not conveyed to BSF top officials, who were to facilitate the evacuation in the border area.Col (Retd) CD Kamboj claimed it is highly deplorable that so far Chief Minister has not spoken to Centre about the losses to farmers of their standing paddy crop and what compensation centre would give to farmers?  “Not even a single word on compensation to farmers has been uttered by both Centre and State”, Kamboj said.“If the war is imminent, why does not Badal order special Girdawari in the border area, so that adequate compensation of at least Rs. 50,000 per acre could be given to affected farmers, who are apprehending huge losses in view of forcible evacuation,” Jagtar Singh Sanghera said.Sanghera condemned the state government for not making any adequate arrangements for comfortable and smooth evacuation of border area.
