Stating that Muslim population of Jammu region especially Rajouri district is being harassed at institutional level, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Khan Sunday said that state authorities are fulfilling the Hindu fascist agenda in a systematic manner.In a statement issued to KNS, Khan said that Muslim population of Jammu region especially in Rajouri, Poonch districts is facing government wrath only for their religious ideology and commitment towards the freedom struggle.Nayeem warned the state apparatus of dire consequences if their attitude towards Jammu Muslims remains unchanged.He also reaffirmed that people of the valley are with their brethren of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah and Gool Gulab Garh areas who are a part and parcel of the ongoing freedom struggle.JKNF chairman said that Kashmiri people respect and appreciate the role of Jammu Muslims in the freedom movement. “Government in league with Hindu extremist forces is harassing Muslims of Peerpanchal and Chinab Valley,” Khan said.
He strongly condemned the harassing of Muslims in Jammu region and warned the communal elements who are trying to vitiate the communal harmony in particular areas of the region.Khan expressed shock over the cold blooded murder of 11 years old boy, Nasir Shafi Qazi of New Theed Harwan at the hands of the men in uniform and said that such type of cruelties is unacceptable to the civilised world.He lashed out at the pro-India politicians and said that unarmed Kashmiri kids, youngsters and middle aged are being massacred on their behest. “The cold blooded murder of one more school boy at Theed Harwan speaks volumes of Indian brutalities,” Khan said and called it “blind democracy of India”.Welcoming the resignation of Tariq Hameed Karra, Khan said that all the members of the so called assembly should also shun the path of collaborator and act irrespective of their party ideologies.“All the pro-India politicians must leave serving and strengthening the Indian occupation,” Khan said, adding “It is these politicians who have time and again provided New Delhi the opportunity to brutalise the peace loving Kashmiri people.”“India has been using the local pro-India politicians to crush and kill innocent Kashmiris,” he said adding “cannot these politicians see the blood bath of teenagers in Kashmiri streets.”He asked the relatives of pro-India politicians to pressurise them to quit the pro-India stance.
“Cannot their (pro-India politician’s) kith and kin see the ground realities and make them understand to leave their path of collaboration with India,” Nayeem Khan asked.He said that neither people nor history will forgive the local pro-India politicians so this is the appropriate time for them to shun the path of pro-India politics and join the genuine voice of common Kashmiris. “Resigning of pro-India politicians will build a pressure on New Delhi to stop the genocide in Kashmir,” Khan said.Khan strongly condemned the government spokesman for maligning the freedom struggle and Kashmiri people especially youth. He said that government spokesman is trying to prove himself more loyal than the king that is why he always appears in media and tries to malign the ongoing freedom struggle.“If this so called government spokesman has any conscience left with him he must stop vomiting venom against the freedom struggle and Kashmiri people especially youth,” Khan said. “The government spokesman is brazenly trying to defend India and its collaborators and try to defame and tarnish the image of resistance leadership and unarmed and innocent freedom loving people of Kashmir,” Khan said.
