Terming the decision of appointing an Independent Administrator by Narindra Modi led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government at Centre, in which SAD is also part & parcel, as anti-Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today strongly condemned the Modi’s act and demanded Badals should clarify their stand on the decision. Head of the Campaign Committee of AAP and MP, Bhagwant Mann today said that appointment of an independent Administrator of Chandigarh means washing out of the Punjab’s valid stake on Chandigarh. Since, SAD is alliance partner of NDA, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has no moral right to continue with his post.“Either CM Badal should immediately resign from his post or snap political ties with NDA by withdrawn his daughter-in-law from Modi’s cabinet”, Mann vowed.

Instead of bowing down in front of Modi in the greed of power, Mann said Badals, who have set up their own private Chandigarh at Mullanpur, where they (Badals) have constructed Seven Star Hotel and possessed benami properties worth crores of rupees, once again sold the interests of Punjab for their personal gains.“Be it Crop Insurance, Centre’s anti-Punjab stand by NDA in Supreme Court and now this decision of the appointment of Independent Administrator of Chandigarh, where was Harsimrat Kaur, when such anti-Punjab decisions were being taken?,”, Mann quipped.AAP MP said that days of SAD-BJP Government are numbered in the day and they have no right to sell the interests of Punjab to Centre for saving the Cabinet berth of Harsimrat Badal in Union Government, Mann said.
