Former MP and convener of Pehla Punjab Lok Hit Abhiyan Jagmeet Singh Brar today termed the distasteful remarks of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal as his rejection by the public. In a statement released here today, Brar said that the language used by Sukhbir Badal for the political leaders of others parties terming them as thugs is an indication that he had lost faith in democratic and cultured language. He said that he had no right to blame others for the ruining of the state. He said that the just objectional and filthy remarks are the hallmark of Sukhbir Badal's public discourse and out of frustration. A new wave of positive politics is ushering in the state but Badals are still riding the castles of paradise to come in power whereas the people of the state had not only fed up with the anti people policies of the SAD-BJP combine government but also had lost faith on the government led by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.

He said that Sukhbir Badal should feel ashamed of the dirty politics he was playing to tarnish the image of the leaders of parties announcing them as thugs. He said that he should peep into his own misdeeds which had made them to spend sleepless nights. He dared Sukhbir Badal to utter such language against opponents without the cover of his army of SOI goons and high level security cover. He said that Brar said the incidents of desecration earlier of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and now of Quran Sharif are clearly linked with each other and are amounted to create disturbance in the peaceful state of Punjab to take political mileage of the situation out of both the incidents and to divide the people on communal lines. It is worth Sukhbir Badal had termed leaders of other parties excluding BJP, at a political conference of the SAD at Ajitwal, as thugs, criminals and anti social elements which attracted sharp criticism from all political as well social quarters.
