Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded immediate arrest of senior Akali leader and chairman Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, Dyal Singh Kolianwali, after state vigilance bureau nabbed his close aide and Akali councillor Sham Lal Daddi in a multi crore job scam. AAP, MP from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann said mere arrest of Akali councillor Daddi would mean nothing if the kingpin of the entire job scam Kolianwali was roaming scot free." Daddi could not have run the entire job racket on his own and without the backing and support of the Kolianwali. So unless Kolianwali was arrested and made to join the investigations the ongoing probe by the vigilance bureau would not go too far and bring the actual culprits to justice", added Mann.Kolianwali is being spared by the investigating agencies because of his close proximity with Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and other members of the family which is a well known fact in Punjab.

" It is now established that Badal government in order to save its own skin is delaying action against Kolianwalai who has direct access to the chief minister and other members of his family", said Mann adding that Kolianwali is also president of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) of the Mukatsar (rural) unit.Daddi is just a frontman of Kolianwali  who sold government jobs in punsup, local government, PUDA and several other department where incumbents had to pay up to Rs. 30 Lakh each to get the job.Mann said since the state vigilance bureau worked under the direct supervision of the chief minister the AAP had no faith in the ongoing inquiry. " A probe under the supervision of Punjab & Haryana High Court can only bring the real culprits of the job scam to the forefront so that they could be punished as per the law of the land", added Mann.
