On the re-opening of offices on Annual Durbar Move , the Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta today inspected various sections of the Assembly Secretariat and took stock of the arrangements made for smooth functioning of the offices. He inspected Assurances Section, hospitality and protocol, stationary, translation, accounts, administration and Central Hall. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all facilities for smooth conduct of the Session completed within shortest possible time.The Speaker instructed the Secretary, Legislative Assembly to sort out the problems of Assembly Secretariat employees, if any, being faced by any official on priority enabling them to discharge their duties without any inconvenience.Secretary Assembly, Mr. Mohammad Ramzan informed the Speaker said that in view of forthcoming Budget Session commencing from later this month, the Assembly Secretariat is already working for the same.Besides Secretary, the senior officers of Assembly Secretariat accompanied the Speaker during the inspection.
