Recently appointed Member of Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Gian Chand Diwali today assumed charge of office here at Punjab Civil Secretariat.Diwali took the charge of the office in the presence of Chairman Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Rajesh Bagha. After assuming the charge, Diwali said that he would carry forward the welfare programmes and policies of the Punjab government to safeguard the interests of the Scheduled castes in the state.Mr. Pargat Singh, MLA, Jalandhar Cantt: Sant Satwinder Hira, President, All India Adi Dharam Mission; Sat Parshotam Dass, Mr. Krishan Chander Ahuja; Dr. Manjit Singh Bhoma, relatives and friends of Mr Diwali were also present on the Occassion.
