Dir reviews implementation of RDD schemes at Kupwara

Director Rural Development Department(RDD), Kashmir, Mr. Tasaduq Jeelani Saturday convened a meeting  to review  the implementation of various  various centrally and state sponsored schemes being executed in Kupwara district. The meeting was informed that Rs 52.65 crore have been expended under MGNERGA scheme besides Rs 3.29 crore were spend under IAY in the district.It was also given out that as many as 94495 Job Cards were issued while as 9.61 lakh man days were generated benefiting 27486 families in  24 blocks.The meeting was further informed that construction of 53 Panchayat Ghars have been completed so far across the distinct.Speaking on the occasion, Director RDD stressed upon officers to work with more zeal and dedication and ensure effective, transparent and timely implementation of all schemes so that people are benefitted. He also instructed them to work in unison and ensure judicious utilization of funds.The meeting was attended by Assistant Development Commissioner and other concerned officers.
