The Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69 commenced students Annual Sports Meet at its campus. The four houses displayed the field march past led by their house captains and the School Director Education S.K Sharma took the salute which was followed by Oath taking ceremony wherein all participants pledged to take part in the Athletic Meet in true sportsmanship . The inter-house sports meet kicked off by the events for classes 3 and 4 who participated in Hop the Ball, Crazy Cone and Pyramid Race. For classes 5 the events were 100m, 200m and 300m race for both boys and girls. Students also participated in yoga , Long jump, high jump ,Discuss throw and Shot put.
Ice cream cone race was won by Rajan whereas Harmanpreet was winner of Cross the river race.Markers and and cone race winner was Aishveer .Aryaman was the winner of hop the ball race.Hurdle and bean bag race was won by Balraj. Hop race winner was balraj .Surjit & Pooja Sharma parents of the students were winner of target game.Musical hoops game was organised for teachers and was won by Ms Mamta .A.S.Bajwa, Chairman, Shemrock School appealed the parents to let the children grow through participating in extracurricular activities as it provides a platform for students to exhibit their unparalleled sporting talents. According to him Spirited, energetic and vibrant students can make a difference in every field and competition.
