People From All Walks Of Life Welcome The Pilgrims At Nanded Railway Station

The first train under Mukh Mantri Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme (MMTDYS) reached Sri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded, with pilgrims from Vidhan Sabha Constituency, Attari reciting Gurbani throughout the journey. The pilgrims were welcomed by the sangat from Sri Hazur Sahib, Gurudwara Nanded Sahib Board and Gurudwara Baba Nidhan Singh Langar Wale, besides several others.Nearly, 1022 pilgrims hailing from Attari along with the Cabinet Minister from Attari, Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike and his family traveled in this train. The complete travel arrangements and the hospitality are being looked into by IRCTC with the expenses being met by Government of Punjab. The melodious, sweet recital of Gurbani was continuously played in the train through the speakers installed in each bogie of the train. The pilgrims also recited the same as well the Paath of Sukhmani Sahib.

On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister, special State Transport Commissioner Mr Manjit Singh Narang had already reached Nanded Sahib to welcome the pilgrims. At the railway station of Nanded Sahib, Mr Narang were accompanied by former MP and Senior Akali leader Mr Amrik Singh Aliwal, besides several others who welcomed the Sangat by showering rose petals.Here, IRCTC had arranged deluxe buses for the pilgrims and they were already informed about the names of their hotels, where they would be staying, in advance. The pilgrims left for the respective hotels in their buses. Mr Ranike and his family members were the last to leave the railway station and they preferred to stay in the Gurudwara Sran instead of a hotel.

SDM-1 Amritsar Mr Rajesh Sharma and Tourism Department Deputy Director Mr Balraj Singh supervised the entire arrangement of stay of pilgrims on their own. IRCTC made sure the pilgrims had lunch at the hotels on time. The pilgrims took some rest and then left for paying obeisance at Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded. They also visited Gurudwara Baba Nidhan Singh.Majority of the pilgrims were those who have visited Takhat Sri Hazur Sahib for the first time and they thanked Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal for starting Mukh Mantri Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme.
