The Punjab SC Commission has intervened and helped a widow to get a job on compassionate grounds after the death of her husband.Disclosing this here today, the Chairman of the Commission Mr. Rajesh Bagha said that Sunita W/O Late Rajan had lodged a complaint about not getting a job on compassionate grounds after the death of her husband after which the commission had sought a report regarding the matter from the district administration Jalandhar and thereafter with the intervention of the commission, Sunita had been issued appointment letter as Safai Sewak (Class-IV) from Jalandhar Administration.r. Bagha also said that the Punjab SC Commission was fully committed to resolve the pertaining to the members of scheduled caste category in accordance with the law and service rules. He also disclosed that in order to ensure the security and safety of Safai Sewaks, the Commission had already issued instructions to all the Municipal corporations for providing proper safety equipments to them.
