Today, Chairperson, J&K State Commission for Women, Ms. Nayeema Ahmad Mahjoor chaired a meeting at Conference Hall, D.C. Office complex, Reasi to create awareness among women for their constitutional rights and general working of the State Commission. ADDC Reasi, Bhawani Singh Rakhwal, ADC Reasi Shiv Kumar Gupta, CMO, DSWO,DD Employment, Principal Govt. Polytechnic, Reasi, Girl students of Govt. Polytechnic Reasi & ITI Reasi, Anganwari workers and women of social welfare Deptt were also present on the occasion.Chairperson interacted with all the women participants and listened to their grievances patiently and assured them for their early redressal Elaborating on general working of the commission Ms. Mahjoor stressed on the concerned agencies to conduct awareness camps frequently to make women aware regarding various activities by which they can be empowered.Earlier, District Social Welfare Officer, District Employment Officer and CMO Reasi also briefed the gathering about different government schemes being run by their departments for welfare of women in the district.
