Free vocational training provided to 4775 unemployed youngsters by Rural Self Employment institute: R.K.Saini

Rural Self Employment Institute being established at village Bhago Majra will be a blessing for the youngsters of the district.

In assistance with district administration free vocational training has been provided to 4775 unemployed youngsters of the district out of which 2743 trained youngsters has started their own business and loan facility at lowest interests has been provided by various banks to 745 youngsters. Unemployed youngsters are becoming self independent after getting trained from the institute. This was stated by Sh. R.K.Saini district Chief Lead Manager Punjab National Bank while non-formal addressing to press.Mr. Saini said that in assistance with distrcit administration and Ministry of Rural Development Govt. of India, a self employment training institute worth Rs. 3 crore is being established at village bhago majra which will be beneficial for the unemployed youngsters. The construction work for this building is in progress. He said that self employment training institutes has been established in 585 districts in the country from where approximates 22 lakhs apprentice got benefited with various types vocational course and  own business are being run by  13 lakhs 7 thousand apprentice after getting training from institute.

Mr. Saini said that villages Humanyupur has been adopted by Punjab national bank for overall development. He said that provision for solar lights and lanterns have been made in the village. He further said that to facilitate the girl students belonging to poor families a scheme named "ladli" has been initiated by the bank wherein free kits worth Rs. 2500/- has been provide to the eligible students. The free kits consist of uniform and text books. He further said that Toilets worth Rs. 1 lac has been constructed at the school besides this financial assistance worth Rs.  10 thousand has been provided for the sports material and for the library financial assistance of Rs. 15 thousand has been provided by the bank. Free kits to the students were distributed by Smt. Daljeet Kaur wife of Circle Chief Punjab Nationla Bank.
