Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Imran Raza Ansari today reviewed the implementation of developmental schemes during a meeting held at ITI Pattan.District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Joint Director Planning, Engineers, District and Sectoral officers were also present.The Minister took stock of works on roads, filtration plants, school buildings under SSA, RMSA, upgradation of transformers and Electric infrastructure.The Minister also reviewed health sector in the area with directions to the concerned officials to ensure availability of doctors, paramedical staff and medicine in all hospitals. Directions were also issued to the Chief Education officer to expedite work on school buildings taken up under RMSA and SSA.Availability of ration in the constituency was also discussed with instructions from the Minister to ensure complete registration of consumers under the FSA. He also asked the CA&PD to ensure transparency in the distribution of ration to the public.Earlier, the Minister distributed 1st installment of IAY Cheque of Rs. 18750 each among 75 beneficiaries. The Minister also distributed cheques of Rs. 3 lakh among 11 beneficiaries for construction of silk worm rearing sheds under CDP programme of sericulture Department.
