MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar convened a public grievance redressal camp at Gandoh .MLA inaugurated 100 KV transformer at Gandoh, funds for which were provided out of his Constituency development fund. He also distributed cheques of various land compensation cases among land owners.Providing succor to the people living in remote Chowri area, MLA also flagged off SRTC bus service on 13km route from Gandoh to Chowri.People of the area apprised the Minister regarding their demands pertaining to release of compensation of land acquired for various road projects, development of horticulture on modern lines, repair of electric supply lines in the area, macadamization of local roads, augmentation of power and water supply in the area .
People of area also stressed on development of potential tourism areas in the region.Responding to the demands of the people MLA directed Horticulture Development Officer Gandoh to start the mechanical cutting work of the fruit bearing plants by 15th December besides the authorities of Agriculture and Horticulture department were impressed upon to organize awareness camps in all the areas. Agriculture extension officer Gandoh was directed to conduct mechanical testing of the soil in the area so that the feasibility of the soil for a particular crop could be ascertained and steps could be taken to improve the productivity.
“Immediately start the restoration and strengthening work on the link roads so that roads could be kept ready for the macadamization work for the next working season in the area, MLA directed to the PWD authorities.”To ensure that all the developmental works are properly executed he said that the work on all the roads and other important projects will be personally monitored by him.He also assured that the directions for the release of pending old age and widow pensions of the people of the area will be given to the District social welfare officer Doda The MLA also distributed Solar Lights among the beneficiaries on the occasion.MLA was accompanied by Additional District development commissioner Doda Mr Nariender Singh Bali , SDM Gandoh Mr Dilmir Choudhary, Chief Education Officer Doda, XEn PDD Kishtwar among other District officers.
