GGS- Sachdeva group of institutes organized a “Job Fair” at the college campus, Kharar, today. Around 285 Candidates were short listed in the fair. Hundreds of students from Tricity, J&k, Himachal, Haryana & Punjab participated in the fest. S. Surinder pal Singh Sachdeva & Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairperson, GGS-Sachdeva Group inaugurated the event. Students from Chitkara University, DIET, Sukhmani Group, Mata Guzari College, RIMT, GDU, CEC & College of Mgmt & Technology etc.participated in the job fair.While inaugurating the job fair, S.Surinder Pal Singh Sachdeva, Chairman, GGS-Sachdeva Group said that the companies who participated in the Job Fest and selected candidates includes Havells, Mismo & Zoiac etc.Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairman, GGS-Sachdeva Group said that to expose the students to international education standards, employment facilities and opportunities of education abroad GGS-Sachdeva Group has entered into number of tie-ups / collaborations with foreign institutions such as UWS,UK ; MFHLA, Newzealand ; QAG,Newzealand; NMIT, Newzealand; Stow College, Glasgow, Scotland & UK ; GCU,UK & NSTT, New Zealand.Expressing his great joy at the remarkable success of this event, Dr.GS Virdi, Director, GGS-Sachdeva Group said that “The group will keep on organizing more such job fest in the future so that unemployed youths from the region get benefit from it.” Dr.ravinder Khanna, Principal, Sachdeva College of Engineering & Technology for Girls; Dr.S K mahala, Vice – Principal, GGS College of Modern Technology were also present on the occasion.
