The two days of gala evenings of Rhyme and Rhythm as the students of Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69 celebrated their Annual Day. The programme began with the inaugural lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. The students danced their way into the hearts of the audience.One the one hand the students raised the issue of Female Feticide on the other hand there were also mesmerizing dance performances. The students spread a word of awareness through their dances on sensitive issues, Save the Planet--Earth and Save the Girl Child.The English play 'Robodog' provided a platform to the students to understand the future time that is different from their own.Mobile Mania A Mime and Selfie Fever a punjabi play reconnected the audience to the present technology. The folk dances Giddha and Bhangra was a display that was resplendent with colour, culture and creativity. English play ,Villa for Sale and Silly Hans was a musical adaptation of the world of dreams of Hans.It was also an occasion for awards for all those students who have been relentlessly trying to achieve their goals. Trophies were given to the students for their academic achievement as well as full attendance. Chairman JS Bajwa applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers.
