Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh while replying to a question by Mr. Sofi Yousuf in the Legislative Council said that Deendayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) for 21 districts of J&K State has been approved by the Monitoring Committee of Union Ministry of Power on 06 August, 2015 for an amount of Rs 530.08 crore for feeder separation, metering, system strengthening and providing electrification access to rural households and the scheme is to be implemented as per guidelines of DDUGJY within the stipulated time frame.
