In 'personal capacity', Hooda wants Congress to support AAP

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Tuesday said the "Congress party should give unconditional support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)" to form a government in Delhi.Hooda told mediapersons here his suggestion in this regard was in his "personal capacity".Commenting on the prevailing political situation after elections in Delhi threw up a hung assembly with the possibility of no party being able to form the government, Hooda said: "I, in my personal capacity, would suggest the Congress party to give unconditional support to the Aam Aadmi Party so as to enable them fulfill the promises made to the people."

In the elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party emerged the single largest party with 31 seats in the 70-member assembly, the AAP won 28 seats while the Congress got only eight. However, neither the BJP nor the AAP is keen to form the government.
