The militants killed in a gunfight in the forests of Rafiabad area on Thursday were buried in a local graveyard here in Hamam Markoot village in Rafiabad on Friday,sources said.The bodies of slain militants were handed over to locals for last rituals on Thursday by 32 RR Donawari after doctors conducted postmortem of bodies.The bodies were buried on Friday afternoon in the local graveyard,sources said.Locals said the bodies were about 23 km away from village in the higher reaches of Viji top upper belt of Rafiabad, and were transported to village on Friday morning only.One militant of the same militant group who was killed by army in Lachipora sector on Wednesday was also buried by locals in presence of kashmir police,they said.Meanwhile Pakistani militant captured during an operation yesterday was remanded in police custody for five days by a court in Sopore town of Baramulla district.The court of judicial magistrate (Sopore) granted the police five-day custody of Sajjad Ahmed alias Abu Obaidullah, captured by the army in Rafiabad area near the Line of Control.
