Senior Hurriyat leader and chairman of his faction of Peoples Conference Bilal Gani Lone has termed the cancelling of Indo-Pak NSA level talks as “unfortunate” and hoped for resumption of dialogue as soon as possible.Talking to KNS over phone from Delhi, Lone said the two nations (India and Pakistan) have to realise that dialogue is the only way for them to bury decades of hatred and acrimony.“At the end of the day, both of them have to talk. So I hope cancelling the NSA level talks should be a temporary phase, and both the nations should start the process of dialogue as soon as possible,” he said.Lone added that he was a firm believer in dialogue, and added that Kashmiris being the core party to Kashmir dispute should be consulted before and included in any engagement between the two nations.Lone had gone to Delhi on invitation of Pakistan High Commissioner to India for a proposed meeting with Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan NSA. However, Lone was arrested by Delhi soon after he landed in Delhi.
