Saints always think of man’s welfare. They wish that man should be happy here and hereafter. And for this they did not merely advise him to unite with Truth but actually established this link, this communion.Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh Parmukh Rev. Mohinder Singh Ji told that it was stated here late last evening by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission , while addressing the second day’s open session of the on-going 66th Nirankari Sant Samagam. The 3-day Samagam is being attended by lakhs of devotees of the Mission and others from India and abroad.His Holiness said that what we consider true in material world is always momentary and may change with the change of place and time. But the Truth saints talk about is eternal, immutable. Hence, whatever was preached in the past is being repeated today. The message may come from children, young or the old, they may use any language but its essence is the same.
Baba Ji said that saints do not merely advise man to know or realize this eternal truth; they reveal the same and establish this relationship, this communion. They do not only show the path, they provide true destination. They link the soul with over soul and thus render human life meaningful, successful and blissful.His Holiness said that once man realizes this eternal truth, his life is filled with pine virtues. He lives with love, compassion and cooperation. His behaviour is marked with tolerance, humility and selflessness. And these are the human values saints always preached. Even this Samagam is dedicated to this message- Let’s Value Human Values. We celebrated the International Day of Tolerance on November 16, where also the Mission sought to strengthen not only Tolerance for Co- existence but other human values like love, compassion, unity and peace also.
His Holiness said that the message of saints, Gurus and prophets has always been addressed to human beings and not to any other species. This is because everything the heaven or hell, exists for and because of human beings. It is, however, unfortunate that man has not cared for the advice of the saints and not given up his own cleverness. People have always ignored the message of unity based on love and followed the path of hatred, jealousy and violence.Baba Ji said that even today the devotees have travelled thousands of miles and assembled here in this Samagam to reemphasize the same message. They are eager that born empty-handed, man should not leave this world empty-handed. No doubt, no worldly objects or achievements, qualifications and positions will go with him. It is only the wealth of pine Name that will accompany him and ensure his happiness or salvation hereafter.Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, observed that human life is quite short. We should, therefore, value each moment. We must realize the truth and unite with God without any further delay. He is the only perfect entity and man cannot be perfect without seeking communion with Him.
