Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday asked the separatists not to become a hurdle between India- Pakistan talks and allow the peace process to start. In a statement to KNS, the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said, “Separatists should realize that they cannot hold deliberations with the representative of another country. If they have any grievances they should approach the Chief Minister, who is the elected representative and hold talks with him.”The BJP spokesman said that upcoming talks between the two National Security Advisors of both the countries would focus on “terrorism and infiltration.” “If they (separatists) want to give some credible information on terrorism they should seek a meeting with National Investigating Agency (NIA),” he added.Jehangir said that separatists should see the “writing on the wall” and stop befooling Kashmiris by showing them dreams of “Azadi” and Pakistan. “People of Jammu and Kashmir are fed up of senseless violence and mere rhetoric. They want to live a peaceful life and want to prosper,” he added. The BJP spokesman said, “It’s unfortunate that separatists despite having Indian passports and enjoying  all the facilities indulge in anti-national activities.”He said that separatists should take a cue from separatist turned mainstream politician Sajad Lone.“Sajad realized the futility of separatism and joined the national mainstream,” he added. The BJP spokesman asked the National Conference working president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah not to poke his nose in the affairs which don’t fall in his domain.“Our government doesn’t need advice from a person who during his six year tenure failed to deliver,” he added.
