ACD Doda convenes public grievances camp at Chiralla

To redress the grievances of the people Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, Rakesh Kumar today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Chiralla area in block Thathri.During the camp ACD impressed upon panchs/sarpanchs and people of the area to ensure effective monitoring of various works going on in their respective panchayats so that sustainable assets are created in the rural areas. He underlined the need to have close coordination between PRI’s and Rural Development Department for the effective planning and implementation of state and centrally sponsored schemes.ACD directed the field functionaries of the Department to expedite the pace of works going on in the Block and ensure that all works get completed in time.  He said the benefit of schemes initiated by the RDD for the upliftment of poor people must reach to the deserving beneficiaries. During the camp people of the area also put forth various issues related to the functioning of the department to which ACD after giving a patient hearing assured the people of the area that their genuine grievances would be redressed at an earliest besides he also directed the field functionaries to work in close coordination with the PRIS and the public.Block Development Officer Thathri Tahir Qayoom Malik, field functionaries of the department besides panchs/sarpanchs and public of the area were also present in the camp.Later, ACD also inspected various ongoing developmental works in Chiralla and Poneja panchayats in block Thathri and directed the field functionaries to ensure qualitative and time bound completion of works for the development of the area.
