Man must realize the oneness of mankind and live in harmony with fellow men. What we need in this strife-stricken world today is tolerance that leads to peaceful co-existence of human kind.  We must rise above all kinds of persities and live in unity.Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh Parmukh Rev. Mohinder Singh Ji told that it  was observed here late last evening by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission while addressing the first day’s open session of the 66th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam. The three day Samagam is being attended by lakhs of devotees of the Mission and other God-loving people from all parts of India. Many delegates have come from other countries of the world also.

His Holiness said that saints, Gurus and prophets have always preached the message of human unity, the oneness of mankind.  Whether Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Hazarat Mohammed or Guru Nanak, no spiritual master of the world spread negative feelings of discrimination, hatred and jealousy.  Their message was universal and emphasized that born as man, everyone should behave like man. Let them love each other as the same soul resides in everyone.Unfortunately the ignorant and selfish religious people misinterpreted the teachings of prophets and confused the minds of others. This created conflicts in the name of God and prophets and over places of worship. Baba Ji said that when a small insect like mosquito can cause disabilities, damage organs and even cause death, then we can easily imagine the condition of man whose mind is infected by germs of hatred, jealousy, discrimination and other negative feelings.

Recalling Gandhiji’s words that no person can exist in isolation, each human is dependent on others, Baba Ji said that man must live with man in harmony with the spirit of tolerance.  Let each heart throb with the same feelings of love, peace and unity. Let each person see his own reflection in the heart of others. His Holiness said that through various Samagams in India and abroad the mission has always stressed the need to realize the oneness of God and promote and strengthen the feelings of love, compassion and understanding.  Let there be no hatred on the basis of caste, colour and creed, language, culture or religion.  Let everybody appreciate that we are made from the same five elements and the same soul, the particle of Super Soul exists in all. On November 16, 2013, the International Day of Tolerance declared by the U.N., the Mission too organized a Motor Bike Rally to highlight the message of Tolerance for Peaceful Co-existence.

Even today, Baba Ji said this Samagam is presenting beautiful example of unity in persity. The speakers used various languages including Hindi, Punjabi, English, Nepali, Kannada and others.  The participants represent various regions and cultures.  Even then there is love, unity and discipline. He called upon everyone to reach this message to every human being in the world and strengthen human values. Earlier, Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji said that it is only with the grace of Satguru that we unite with Truth or God. It is with his blessings that we enjoy peace within and harmony outside. As we all know ,when we are in the company of Satguru ,we feel safe and relieved from all worldly worries and sorrows. In his presence we overcome our physical pain and tension also.

Sewa Dal Rally

Today, the Samagan began with a colourful rally by Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal volunteers. Thousands of men and women in uniform both from India and abroad participated. They presented some P.T exercises, acrobats and games and also an impressive cultural prorgramme to highlight the importance of selfless service to  humanity. Some items stressed the need of oneness of mankind for peace inside and outside.  One item sought to highlight the spirit of discipline and dedication which the volunteers served others and gave the credit to the spiritual guidance of Satguru. The Member Incharge of Sewa Dal Shri Harbans Lal Arora said that there are 1.37 lakh men and women in uniform throughout India and every effort is being made to extend Sewa Dal to catch with the fast expanding Mission.  He said that devotees consider an opportunity for service as a sign of great fortune. He prayed to Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj to bless all so that they are able to value this precious boon.

Blessing the Sewa Dal volunteers His Holiness said that Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal is not only assisting in arrangements during congregations and big Samagams, but they are also always ready to participate in the rescue and rehabilitation measures in case of any natural calamity anywhere in the country. Quoting the example of the recent flood havoc in Uttarakhand, Baba Ji said that authorities are full of praise of their honesty, discipline and dedication.
