On the directions of party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah, a delegation of Democratic Freedom Party led by Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi which included Engineer Farooq Ahmad Khan and others today succeeded in reaching Kakapora, Pulwama where they took stock of the encounter aftermath situation, a spokesman of the party said in a statement.The delegation also visited the residence of Talib Hussain and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family. On the occasion, the delegation while talking to people present there severely condemned the forces action of firing bullets over people and later on razing the house to ground.
Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi and Engineer Farooq Khan while coming down heavily upon brutality of forces said, “New Delhi is going Israeli way here by razing houses to grounds after massacring the common masses. By carrying such anti-human activities, they (Indian forces) want to create a reign of terror among the pro-freedom people here.”Saluting the bravery and courage of Talib, the leaders paid glowing tributes to him and said the highly qualified and educated youth sacrificed their lives for the honour and dignity of their nation “as they couldn't tolerate the further humiliation by imperialist powers like India.”
