Dukhtaran-e-Milat (DeM) chief Aasiyeh Andrabi Thursday said that nobody is dying for a so called dialogue in Kashmir.

In a statement to KNS she said that the Kashmir issue cannot be resolved by so called bilateral dialogue and India should not give an impression that Kashmir’s want an invitation for talks as a concession.Reacting to what was said by India’s junior minister for home in Parliament she said, “Let India not give an impression that Kashmir’s are begging for an invitation to Delhi or they want an invitation for dialogue as a concession, nobody here is dying for an opportunity of useless talks. India lured different people at different times and there have been a number of rounds of talks but nothing has come out of this futile exercise. Nothing can be achieved through so called talks unless India is ready to shun its rigidness and accept the reality of Kashmir.”

“Kashmir is a disputed area and occupied by India, its people were promised a plebiscite by Indians with the whole world as its witness but India reneged from its own promises forcing the browbeaten Kashmiri’s to take to Arms,” the DeM chief said.“Wworld has again started taking interest in Kashmir which has frustrated India who is now issuing statements to befool the world by saying that it is ready to talk to Kashmiri’s if they are ready to give up the so called violence,” she added.

The Dukhtaran e Millat president further said “there are millions of gun totting military personal of India in Kashmir who have been indulging in worst kind of human rights violations  but astonishing is the thing that an impression is given as if we poor Kashmiri’s are violent.”

“Things will settle only when Indians shun rigidness and get ready for the plebiscite or a serious process of tripartite talks, involving Pakistan and Kashmiri leadership as a primary party to the dispute. Kashmiri people have given lot of sacrifices not for any photo sessions on the name of talks under Indian constitution but for permanent resolution of the dispute as per the wishes of their own. We in Kashmir know Indian constitution for atrocities, brutalities, killings and all the worse Indian army and its other institutions have been doing in this occupied land so how can India even dream that any sane person will consider talking under the same constitution whose guardians have held us hostage for decades together,” she said.“It is in India’s good to shun the rigidness, stop the human rights violations, accept the reality of Kashmir not being its part and leave the land it has occupied forcibly decades ago,” Aasiyeh Andrabi added.
