District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ajay Singh Jamwal reviewed the arrangements being made for smooth conduct of Independence Day 2015 in a meeting of officers of various departments here today. The meeting was attended by ADDC Kathua Manmohan Singh, ADC Dr Mushtaq Ahmed and officers from civil, police and heads of educational institutions.The arrangements reviewed during the meeting include security arrangement, medicare facilities, electricity, sanitation, installation of Public Address System, transport and seating etc.District Development Commissioner urged upon the officers to keep close liaison so that all the arrangements can be put in place well in time.It was decided that the main function will be organized at District Sports Stadium where National Flag will be hoisted by the chief guest who will take salute at the march past to be presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, NCC, Home Guards, Fire and Emergency and contingents of school children from various educational institutions. In addition, cultural programmes will also be presented by the students of various educational institutions.
