Militant outfit while claiming the responsibility of grenade attack on CRPF armoured vehicle in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district Wednesday said that these CRPF personnel from 96 battalion were involved in oppression and repression on youth and frequently they were found responsible for passing ‘lewd’ comments on the female folk.“Common people, women, old or young or children belonging to any religion or caste or Hindu Amarnath pilgrims or tourists are never our target. To mislead people, Indian agencies are resorting to negative propaganda that Amarnath Yatri’s are on the militant target,” a statement of TeM to CNS reads.The statement further reads that people should stay away from the Indian security installations including bunkers, patrolling parties and security camps. “Our militants snatched the rifle of a CRPF man after grenade attack in which one security man died. The CRPF resorted to indiscriminate firing after the attack,” the statement claimed. (CNS)
