Strongly condemned the ‘interference’ of the army in the educational institutions under the “Sadbhavana” operation in the Bandipora district and cooperation of the teaching staff in this regard, Hurriyat Conference (G) Tuesday said “these types of non schooling activities adversely impacts the education career of the students and frequent visit of the army in the educational institutions have bad psychological effect on the students.”“Indian army is used as a vital tool in the cultural aggression policies and they unnecessarily interfere in every department. The students are the prime target of the oppressive powers and their moral degradation is one of the tools to spread waywardness among them. And this Indian army is the prime source of liquor and drug supply,” a spokesman of Hurriyat (G) alleged in a statement to KNS.
He criticized the teaching staff especially the principal of the degree collage Bandipora for openly and easily allowing the forces to conduct “non-education activities in the college and extending their helping hand in this regard.” Hurriyat (G) spokesman appealed the people to protest wherever and whenever they find any interference of the army into the educational institutions of the Kashmir and don’t allow them to use these institutions for their interests.
