Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman while condemning the harassment of people by the government forces in Radwani Kulgam of South Kashmir through imposing repeated crackdowns and other coercive means Monday said the use of brutal force to curb the public protest against such excesses clearly indicate that terrorizing Kashmimiris to submission is a set and continuous policy of the ruling regime.Terming the nocturnal raids at houses of the supporters of freedom movement in Srinagar and other areas of the valley and arrest of youth including students as retributive tactics of the government, the spokesman in a statement to KNS strongly condemned it and said “Such repressive tactics and methods are not going to weaken the resolve of the people for freedom.”Meanwhile, he also expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of the Mandir Bagh youth Owaise Ahmad Faffu due to drowning and has demanded a fair investigation in the matter. The spokesman while condoling the death of the youth has also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
