About 500 metres away from this spot, the second attack was carried in a similar fashion with Vodafone showroom being the target. A Sentro vehicle (JK01P-8689) parked outside the showroom was damaged in the attack. A police official told CNS that these were low intensity blasts.There were no injuries in the two incidents that shook the area, prompting the police to issue an alert for the assailants. The series of attacks in Summer Capital Srinagar created fear among the Cellular employees in North Kashmir and according to reports the employees fled from the cellular outlets forcing the owners to close the showroom in Pattan and Baramulla town. Pertinently, the cellular outlets in North Kashmir’s Sopore town have never opened up after a series of attacks in the town some two months back. (CNS)
