To formulate Convergence plan under MGNERGA 2015-16 with the schemes of line departments, ADDC Kathua Manmohan Singh convened a meeting with officers of various departments at DC Office Complex here in Kathua today.During the meeting line departments were asked to devise out Convergence Plan with various schemes of Horticulture, Agriculture, Sericulture, Social Foresting and other line Departments with MGNERGA. Directions were passed to the BDOs and other officers to prepare and submit the convergence plan immediately so that durable assets shall be created in the rural and far flung areas of the district to facilitate the general public.He stressed upon the officers to come up with innovative ideas in their plans of convergence to make best utilization of funds and to optimize the desired outcome in shortest time.Assistant Commissioner Development Kathua Dr. Sunil Sharma briefed the participants regarding the aims and objectives of Convergence Plan.Among others CEO Kathua, Chief Agriculture officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, BDOS of Kathua District and other officers were present in the meeting.
