DLSCC sanctions Rs. 95.75 lakhs to militancy hit victims of Baramulla

The District Level Screening-cum-Consultative Committee (DLSCC) meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Baramulla, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmad Shah today. The Committee took up 78 cases, out of which 30 cases were sanctioned on the spot, while as other cases were referred to concerned agencies for re-verification report.The Committee sanctioned Rs. 14 lakhs in favour of 14 next of kins of deceased persons as ex-gratia relief and Rs. 76 lakhs were also sanctioned as cash compensation to the next of kins of the deceased persons as per SRO-43.The Committee rejected two cases, while as Rs. 5.75 lakhs was also sanctioned in favour of property damaged persons during the militancy incident. Meanwhile, the Committee also sanctioned 7 appointment orders under SRO-43.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, other concerned officers and various Security agencies.
