The department of Indian System of Medicines (ISM) and Health Bandipora today organized an awareness camp at Government Higher Secondary School Nowgam Sumbal. The camp was attended by the District Nodal Officer ISM, Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad, Senior doctors of AYUSH, Principal and staff of the said Institution, citizens and students. During the camp, the participants were sensitized about the causes, symptoms, precautions and other treatment of Hepatitis-B.Nodal Officer ISM in his speech threw light on the achievements of the department of ISM made in the district Bandipora and said that a number of seminars and awareness camps have been conducted in the district so that common masses are made aware about the activities of ISM carried out to get control over various diseases and other social evils.
