Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, National Executive Member ST Morcha, BJP, today called on BJP National President Amit Shah at New Delhi and discussed with him several issues related to J&K, especially the anti-national activities which have increased in the Kashmir Valley over the last some months.In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the Morcha said Poswal also discussed with Amit Shah his intention to hoist Natonal Tricolour at Lal Chowk, Srinagar, on the eve of this Independence Day. “In this regard, Poswal sought permission of the National President. Hoisting Natonal Tricolour at Lal Chowk, Srinagar, would send a positive signal and will also boost national activities. It will also strengthen nationalist forces in the valley,” Poswal said.“The anti-national forces which have been raising pro-Pak slogans and hoisting its flag will also get a befitting reply with the hoisting of Natonal Tricolour at Lal Chowk, in the heart of Srinagar City”, he said.
Poswal also discussed with Amit Shah other issues concerning, J&K, like unemployment, establishing industries in the state, education, road providing road connectivity to each and every corner of the state, especially far flung areas, developmental related issues etc.He also demanded from the BJP National President a special package and welfare schemes for the Gujjar and Bakkerwal communities of the state. He said that the BJP-PDP coalition government has been performing well but still a lot needs to be done. “people have lot of hopes from the government which is evident from the fact that both the parties got overwhelming support in Jammu and Kashmir region, respectively”, Poswal said.
