Minister of State for Education, Information and Culture, Priya Sethi along with Senior leader Yudhvir Sethi today visited Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi and reviewed the arrangements made for Shri Amarnath Yatris.A special registration camp has been established for Yatra registration of Sadhus and Saints. The temple administration has made elaborate arrangements for stay and registration of the visiting Sadhus.Reviewing the arrangements put in place for Shri Amarnathji Yatris, the Minister said elaborate arrangements have been made by the administration for smooth conduct of the Yatra and the government is committed to ensure best facilities for the Yatris.
She said advance publicity had been done about the Yatra and people have gone registrations as per guidelines of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, adding that special counters have also been set up for those Yatris who want to have on spot registration.“Special camps have been established at Geeta Bhawan and Ram Mandir for the facilitation of visiting Sadhu Samaj and I have specially come to review the arrangements put in place for visiting Sadhus,” she added.Priya said people of the state have created history by giving overwhelming support to the present government and all out efforts would be made to come up to the expectations of people. She said the coalition government would work towards ensuring peace, prosperity and progress in the state.
She said smooth conduct of the Yatra is topmost priority of the government and complete arrangements for the yatra including security, stay and other related activities are being monitored at the highest level.Appreciating the arrangements made for the visiting Sadhus, Yudhvir Sethi said the Ram Mandir committee has done commendable work for ensuring comfortable stay of visiting holy men and the government has also put in place all required facilities for registration.
He said the state has rich history of composite culture and the land is blessed with saints and seers who have enriched the culture with teachings of mutual brotherhood and harmonious living.“It is the diving blessings and the teachings of brotherhood and amity of sadhus and saints which has bound people of different faiths together and the state has come out of the dark shadows of militancy,” he added.
He said under able guidance of Mahant Rameshwar Das Maharaj the Ram Mandir management committee has been making elaborate arrangements for the Yatris and Sadhu Samaj. “We are committed to work on the principles laid down by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state leadership is committed to serve the people,” he added.Mahant Rameshwar Das also spoke on the occasion and elaborated on the arrangements made for smooth and comfortable stay of the pilgrims.
