Jawahar Lal Nehru founder leaders of the Party, Indira Gandhi, Rafi Ahmad Kidwai, Fakurdin Ahmad Ali and so many Muslim and Hindu leaders and scholars for the betterment and welfare of Muslims and other communities is unforgettable and was the hall mark of Secular Character of Congress.
The Party leadership has always defeated the designs of communal forces who wanted to divide the people on the basis of religion and regions.
