Kupwara Police solves burglary case, recovers stolen property worth lacs

Kupwara Police has solved a burglary case and arrested three burglars. Stolen property of about 2.5 lacs recovered from their possession.A police official in a statement issued to GNS said that police has solved a burglary case FIR No. 47/2015 by arresting three burglars Mohammad Sidiq Waza son of Abdul Samad Waza resident of Madhma, Kupwara, Abdul Majeed Shah son of Ghulam Ahmad Shah resident of Matipora Drugmulla and Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Sopore. Police recovered copper utensils of about 2.5 Lacs from their possession.“On 06-06-2015, Police had registered a burglary case under FIR No. 47/2015 at P/S Kupwara regarding theft of copper utensils belonging to Darsgah Matipora Drugmulla. The stolen property was recovered from Sopore and Baramulla”, the official said, adding that further investigation into the case is in progress and more arrests are expected. (GNS)
