Prabhjot Kaur, a student of class IX from AKSIPS – 45 wins in International essay writing competition organized by J. Reve International. J. Reve International, a social enterprise, U.S.A, aims to cultivate creative change makers, globally. Jacqueline Cofield the founder of the organization, a multi-faceted personality, is multi linguistic too. She says that their goal is to motivate students towards achievement and creativity. She has travelled to 50 countries. She has a master’s degree from the university of South California and the City College of New York, bachelor’s from NYU’s Tschi school of Art, has studied in the Yale university, University of Paris in France and University of Los Angeles in Venezuela . She looks forward to the world getting closer to make global changes.
The essay by Prabhjot on the topic ‘ How to make school better’ will be one of global 1st place essay that will be illustrated, to be later brought into E book.Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, Principal AKSIPS – 45 was happy to have students participate at the global level and have one of them selected as the best. She gave credit to the teachers who are constantly at the job of opening minds and hearts of the young children to enable them to look at the world with a wider perspective. Jacqueline Cofield on her visit to India, honored the invitation extended by Mr. Jasdeep Kalra, Director AKSIPS group of schools, and visited AKSIPS -45 to personally award the student. Prabhjot was awarded with a cash prize of 100 US dollars, a T.Shirt and a certificate. Her message to the students to work towards global changes and be creative was very encouraging.
