Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Information Technology and Technical Education, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari, Thursday reviewed the progress of development works in Pattan tehsil of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.The Minister was informed that as many as 35 construction/ upgradation projects of roads and bridges are in progress in the area and these are at different stages of completion. It was further informed that Rs 3.50 crore are being expended on these projects during the current fiscal.He was further informed that work is also apace on 20 water supply and 8 irrigation schemes in the area which would further augment the potable water and irrigation facilities in the area.The Minister on the occasion stressed on the concerned officers to redouble their efforts and ensure that all ongoing schemes get completed within the stipulated time. He said people have pinned high hopes with the present dispensation and for meeting their developmental aspirations, commitment and extra efforts are needed from every one.
