With an aim to provide better banking facilities to the customers the Citizens Cooperative Bank Limited, Jammu today started the computerization facility under Core Banking Solution in its branches at Vijaypur in Samba and Transport Nagar Jammu.At Transport Nagar branch of the bank the facility was jointly inaugurated by Speaker Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Mr. Sukhnandan Choudhary and Minister for Cooperatives, Mr. Chering Dorjey.Chairman Citizens Cooperative Bank Ltd. Mr. Dinesh Gupta informed that the bank is the largest Urban Cooperative Bank in the state and has always extended efficient services to its customers He said with computerization of these branches, now all the branches of the Citizens Cooperative Bank Limited Jammu are computerized under Core Banking Solution and customers can avail facilities like online banking, RTGS, NEFT, etc.
Computerization under CBS will also reduce the overhead cost of transaction and will increase work efficiency and provide better banking services.Earlier the Minister for Cooperatives, Mr. Chering Dorjey while inaugurating the computerization facility under Core Banking Solution at CCB branch Vijaypur said that with the computerization of the branch bank will be able to cater to the varied banking needs of the people of the area. He also said that with introduction of technology in the bank the people can now avail the benefits of National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) and other online banking facilities.
