Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), in collaboration with InnovatioNext, a leading consulting firm in the field of breakthrough innovations, has set up a world-class ‘Centre for Creativity & Innovation’. The Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) has approved the innovation framework deployed at the Centre.While the importance of creativity as a business competency is now understood, there remains a great deficit of creative talent in the industry. The newly created centre will introduce a specially designed program that will aim to address this deficit and develop the next generation of creative and innovative leaders.
The centre has been set up in collaboration with InnovatioNext, a leading innovation consulting firm which has worked with several Fortune 500 companies in training senior and middle management in a culture of Creativity and Innovation. This will also improve their placements prospects considerably.Knowledge sharing will also happen through access to apps so that students can work on their smartphones to generate new product ideas, take-up industry challenges from Fortune 500 companies and use mind-mapping tools.
