Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura has said that Government is committed to provide transparent, accountable administration to the people, so that the pace of developmental works is speeded up.The Minister was addressing a public gathering at Repora village of Chare-e-Sharief Constituency.The Minister said that the Government headed by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed would fulfill all the promises made during the elections in a time bound manner. “The opposition is trying to mislead the people by raising issues which are baseless and should have been resolved during their tenure in power”, he added.Referring to the developmental initiatives taken by the Government, the Minister said that necessary instructions have been passed down the line to the officers to ensure their time bound and early completion so that people of the State get benefited from these.

“Construction work on several major and minor developmental projects under different sectors in Chare-e-Sharief Constituency is apace which would go a long way in improving the socio-economic conditions of the people of the area and also help to provide employment to the unemployed educated youth”, the Minister added.Mr. Hanjura said that the necessary directions have already been passed to the Chief Engineer, Power Development Department for preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the augmentation of power scenario in the Chare-e-Sharief constituency by way of purchasing the necessary machinery and transformers.Responding to the demand of developing Chare-e-Sharief and Pakharpora Towns on the pattern of Smart Towns, the Minister said that the initiatives are in the  pipe line and the results would be seen on ground soon. He said that the construction work on Golf Course and Cable Car at Yusmarg would be undertaken soon.
