A meeting of the Committee on Ethics (EC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the chairmanship of MLA, Er Abdul Rashid on the behalf of its chairman, Choudhary Qamar Hussain to discuss various issues related to the ethics.The Committee discussed its previous reports and various issues related to ethics besides Code of conduct for Members of the House.The Committee sought Action Taken Report of previous Committee’s recommendations in respect of enhancement of Assembly Session from the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department.The Members of the Committee put forth their suggestions for bringing efficiency in transacting the business of the House.Legislators, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed Sheikh, Mr. Jeevan Lal, Dr Krishan Lal and Syed Farooq Andrabi attended the meeting.
