DC Anantnag convenes DLRC meeting

The District Level Review cum Consultative Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Anantnag under District credit action plan for the 4nd quarter of the last year’s credit action plan was today held at Anantnag under the chairmanship District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Khan who is also the chairman of the said committee.The Legislatures of Dooru, Kokernag, Pahalgam, HS Bough and Member Legislative Council also attended the meeting and raised some issues regarding opening of new branches, conducting of awareness camps at branch levels and similar interest rates in Kissan Credit Card cases in other banks also.The District Lead Bank Manager, Mr. G.M. Mufti while disclosing the details of the achievements made under credit action plan told that against a credit target of Rs. 863.55 crore and advancement of Rs. 617.61 crore has been made available by various banks and financial institutions for setting up of 28138 income generating units in the district Anantnag upto the end of 4th quarter of the last financial year,  while revealing the sector wise achievements, the District Lead Bank office disclosed that under agriculture and allied sector an advancement of Rs. 300.09 crore has been made for establishment of 14546 income generating units. Under non form /SSI sector 10588 units was set up with an advancement of Rs. 370 crore while as under other priority sector a loan of Rs. 42.06 crore has been made available to 3004 beneficiaries.

Under Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana 128824 accounts have been opened by various Banks and 280 camps awareness camps conducted in district Anantnag up to the end of 4thquarter. It was also given out in the meeting that against a target of 78000 Kissan Credit Cards, 69633 cases were sanctioned and loan of Rs. 18.97 lakhs disbursed against government sponsored cases, whereas banks have sanctioned 72891 cases under Kissan Credit Cards.

The Director RSETI informed the meeting that twelve   training programmes were conducted in which 348 candidates have been imported training in different trades by the Rural Self Employment Training Institute Bijbehara. As many as 48 candidates were provided credit linkage also.The District Development Commissioner directed the bankers to organize awareness camps at branch levels to aware the common masses about recently launched ATAL Pension Yojana (APY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) within the prescribed time frame and advised for submission of photographs of the camps and the action taken report in his office.The meeting was attended by AGM RBI, other Bank Officers, Cluster heads and Officers from line department
