The Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave approval to fill 245 vacant posts of different categories through direct recruitment in the Punjab Industries Agro Corporation Ltd. (PIAC).A decision was taken in a meeting here at CMO with the Agriculture Minister Jathedar Tota Singh, senior officers of state administration and PIAC this morning.Of these 245 posts approved by the Chief Minister, three District Managers, 57 Executives, 20 junior scale stenographers, 98 clerks, 32 storekeepers and 35 technical assistants would be filled against the vacancies.The Chief Minister also gave go ahead to the PIAC to get the entire recruitment process executed through Thapar University, Patiala.Prominent amongst others who were present in the meeting, Chief Secretary Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Suresh Kumar, MD PIAC Mr. Kahan Singh Pannu and Special Principal Secretary to CM Mr. Gaggandip Singh Brar
