Four men allegedly involved in the looting of a truck carrying imported electronic goods worth Rs.26 crore in south Delhi late Wednesday night have been arrested, the police said on Friday. The looted goods were also recovered from their possession. The truck, carrying electronic goods and machine parts from Samsung, was heading to Noida from the Indira Gandhi International Airport when it was intercepted by armed men in a car, near Sarita Vihar in south Delhi, and hijacked.Police on Friday identified the arrested men as Pramod, 25, Sarvesh, 27, Vinod Kumar Yadav, 29, and Pramod Yadav, 25. But their three other accomplices -- Manku, Neeraj, and Vinesh -- were still absconding. "The accused were subjected to sustained interrogation during which it was learnt that all of them were drivers by profession and Pramod was the mastermind," a senior police official said.

Pramod contacted Sarvesh, the driver of the truck carrying the electronic goods, and hatched the conspiracy to hijack the loaded truck."Pramod asked Sarvesh to inform him about the delivery of costly goods. Three-four days prior to the incident, Sarvesh came to know about delivery of goods worth Rs.25-26 crore," police said."Sarvesh passed this information to Pramod who along with his accomplices hatched a plan to rob the goods."As per their plan, when the truck left IGI Airport, Pramod, along with his three accomplices -- Manku, Neeraj, and Vinesh -- followed it in a Tata Sumo.Police said that driver Sarvesh kept in touch with them on his cellphone to keep them informed about the location of the truck all this while. The truck was carrying components that Samsung company had imported from Korea and which included integrated circuits and motherboards of high-end mobile phones.
