The Legislative Council today passed two Bills and returned one of them to the Legislative Assembly. The Bills have already been passed in the Legislative Assembly.Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah moved both the Bills in the House for consideration and passing.These Bills include “A Bill to provide for the establishment of Dehi Adalats at the grass-roots level for the purpose of providing access to justice to the citizens at their door-steps and to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of social, economic of other disabilities and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto (L. A. Bill NO. 16 of 2013) was passed with voice vote and returned to Legislative Assembly and “A Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Energy Conservation Act, 2011 (L. A Bill No. 17 of 2013).
